Our Pastors

CHRISTOPHER & ELI FRÄNBERG

Lead Pastors

Christopher and Eli took over as Lead Pastors of SOS Church Stockholm in January 2020 - starting out right as the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Yet through persistent online church services, small gatherings in homes, and steady work accompanied with prayer, they saw a church growth coming through despite the circumstances against them.

TODAY, Christopher and Eli have four children, live in Tullinge, and have seen the church grow to roughly double its attending size since moving to its current home on Drottninggatan 81 in the city centre. They continue to lead SOS Church Stockholm with steady, ever-increasing faith, watching to see God work his wonders in the people of Stockholm.

ELIAS & JULIA KNUDTZON

Pastors and Directors of Events

Elias and Julia Knudtzon have always found beautiful ways to express their faith and gifts that God has given them. They possess a strong eagerness to see the signs and wonders of Jesus in Stockholm, and have already seen him do countless miracles in their own lives.

Together, they oversee the different events happening around the year at SOS Church Stockholm, including the city outreaches aimed at reaching the everyday people of Stockholm with Jesus.

These days, they balance a fast-paced working life in the city with mentoring and coaching several church volunteers - all while raising their four daughters in their home in Farsta.

ISAK & MARIA PRYTZ

Pastors and Directors of Production

Pastors Isak and Maria Prytz display a faithfulness and work ethic unmatched by others. As overseers of production at SOS Church Stockholm, these two take care of putting up each Sunday Celebration together with a huge team of staff and volunteers, as well as developing their team members into strong, hard-working disciples of Jesus.

Having a background in website development himself, Pastor Isak oversees much of the online production as well, and Maria, being a district nurse, possess a wonderful pastoral heart, always finding time to care about the people entrusted to them.

Today, Pastors Isak and Maria have two sons and a daughter, who, like their parents, never let a boring day go by.

DOUGLAS AND MARIA TCHAPE

Care Pastors

Pastors Douglas and Maria are overseers of the care ministry going on at SOS Church Stockholm - including Life Groups, follow-up processes for new people or those who have recently started following Jesus, baptisms and even life coaching.

These two share a passionate heart for people in need, and always lead with a strong example of “simply doing the right thing“. Douglas and Maria have coached many people, young and old, through times of trouble and hardships, and are working hard at building their team of mentors and Life Group leaders into a booming ministry of soul-winners.

Together with their four children, they reside in their house in Upplands Väsby, always keeping an open home for a sit-down or a cup of coffee.

ZABLON & ANNA MANGARE

Pastors of The Next Generation

Pastors Zablon and Anna met in Tanzania, and have since been on an amazing journey with God, ending up in Stockholm as our Pastors and Overseers of the Next Generation. Previously serving as our Kids Pastors, they have since built a team of Kids, Youngsters (kids ages 10-12) and Youth leaders to put up activities and meetings to reach the young generation of Stockholm - and my, what a stable backbone they possess.

Anna and Zablon currently live in Ösmo, south of Stockholm, and have raised three Jesus-following young people. They dream of seeing the young people of Sweden and Stockholm coming back to Christ, and cannot wait to see it all happen.
